Swierczek, Linda Fae (Johnston) age 66, of Eagan, passed peacefully surrounded by her family on Aug. 17, 2017. Preceded in death by father, Ralph Johnston. She is survived by her loving husband, Joe; son, Scott Simmons (Tammy); daughter Jody Delorit (Jesse); mother, Joan Thomasberg; sisters Wendy Miller and Kristi Dzik (John). Survived by step-children, Anthony Swierczek, Amy Kauffman (Scott), Adam Swierczek (Heather); seven grandchildren, LeAnn, Whitney, Kyle, Alyssa, Jared, Julia and Maxuel; nieces and nephews. Linda was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1968. Actively involved as a member of the nationally-acclaimed Highlanders and Mounties color guard units in her youth, Linda shared a life-long passion for drum corps competition with her husband Joe and a host of marching colleagues. A successful business woman, Linda was president of WOW Factor Sports, Inc and was recently employed as an HR IT Business Analyst at 3M. Previous work experience includes positions with Genesis 10, Fulcrum Consulting Group, Computing Devices International, Ceridian and Control Data. As past secretary of her local Minnesota DFL party organization, Linda contributed greatly to its successful growth. Gathering for the Remembrance of Linda at Royal Cliff, 2280 Cliff Road, Eagan, MN 55122, on Tuesday Aug. 22, 2017, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm, Ceremony at 7:00 pm. Memorials preferred to Clean Water Action or to a cause that you are passionate about.
