Ora Mae 'Orie' Seger

Seger, Ora Mae (Orie) of Apple Valley, Minnesota passed away peacefully on August 15, 2017 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. She was 78 years young. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother; she enjoyed cooking, bowling, going up north, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. Orie will be remembered as a kind and good-hearted woman who touched many peoples lives. Orie is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Maury; son Bob (Lisa) Seger of Prior Lake, MN; daughter Julie (Jon) Paulsen of Eagan, MN; grandchildren Ben (Kate) Seger, Andrew Seger, Connor Paulsen, and Kallie Paulsen. The family thanks the staff at Community Assisted Living and Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care and support they gave to Orie . There will be a celebration of life at Easter Lutheran Church 4200 Pilot Knob Road, Eagan MN. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on August 24th and one hour before the memorial service on Friday, August 25th at 10:00 am. Those who so desire may make a memorial donation in memory of Orie to the Alzheimer's Association Minnesota-North Dakota Chapter.
