Burns, Jack R. age 91, of Golden Valley. Jack graduated from North High and served in the US Army artillery unit, stationed in Europe during WW II. He retired in 1985 from NSP after a 32+ year career. Jack enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. He was active in the Masonic lodge and was a longtime volunteer at the Animal Humane Society. He was preceded in death by wife, Gloria in 1968 and sisters, Wilma and Audrey. He is survived by best friend, Bill Solberg, brother-in-law, Frank Blount; 6 nieces and many friends. Graveside service at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorials preferred to the American Cancer Society. Gearty-Delmore.com 763-537-4511
