Sater, Louise P. Age 82 of Eagan, passed away surrounded by her family on July 24, 2017. Survived by loving husband of 54 years, Jack; daughters Lori (Phil) Anderson & Kari (Max) de Lavenne; & grandchildren, Stephanie & Zack Anderson and Tristan & Eden de Lavenne. Born in Minneapolis to Swedish immigrants Erik and Betty Person, Louise was raised in southeast Minneapolis near Minnehaha Park. She graduated from Minnehaha Academy, then from Macalester College with a degree in education. She taught second grade in the Bloomington School system for seven years, and also in the St. Paul School system for two years. During her teaching career, she often played piano for school events. She left teaching to become a full-time homemaker. Later in life, she was a classroom volunteer. She enjoyed baking, cross-stitching and traveling. She and her husband also treasured time at their lake home. She was fluent in Swedish and looked forward to hosting her Swedish relatives this fall. She will be dearly missed but lives on in our hearts and memories. Visitation only 6-8 PM Monday, July 31, at J.S. KLECATSKY & SONS EAGAN CHAPEL, 1580 Century Pt. (Yankee Doodle @ Coachman) in Eagan. Funeral Service 11 AM Tuesday, Aug. 1, at MOUNT OLIVET LUTHERAN CHURCH, 5025 S. Knox Ave. in Minneapolis. Private interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the N.C.
