Newman, Gayle Charlotte (Nordstrom) October 14, 1936 - July 23, 2017 Age 79 of New Hope, MN. A bundle of endless energy and conversation has left this earth to join her beloved parents, Leonard and Evelyn (Palmquist) Nordstrom. Gayle was a graduate of Minnehaha Academy (1957). She went on to receive training in bookkeeping. She was employed for many years with various companies in the metropolitan area and received her 25 year retirement at Christopher and Banks Women's Apparel. In fact, she was still working part time when she suffered a bleed from a brain aneurysm 2 days after her favority holiday Christmas. Gayle was a caring and devoted wife to her husband Bob who suffers from hemophilia and the many problems related to that condition. Survived by loving husband, Bob; brothers, Dr. Leonard "Bud" (Karen) Nordstrom and Craig (Devota) Nordstrom; also survived by nephew, Andy Nordstrom and niece, Jen Nordstrom-Pearson (Bruce); great nephews, Haaken and Tobin Pearson and great niece, Marinus Nordstrom, all well loved and doted upon by great aunt, Gayle. Visitation Friday evening 5-7 PM at Washburn-McReavy Robbinsdale Chapel, 4239 W. Broadway, Robbinsdale.
