Craig L. Williams

Williams, Craig L. 61, of Spring Lake Park, passed unexpectedly 7/11/2017. Preceded in death by parents, Herman "Lenny" and Julia; and brother Earl. Survived by daughter, Christine (Shaun) Koscielniak; son, Lain Kay; grandson, Brady; siblings, Fern (Steven) Mattson, Gwen (Tahir Sandhu), Julia Williams Cortinas; nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Craig's passions were cooking and business. He graduated from Coon Rapids Sr. High School in 1974 where he lettered in soccer. He studied culinary arts and worked cooking jobs, including several years as chef for Becky's Cafeteria in Minneapolis. He was co-owner (with his mother and brother) of Williams Pickup Service in Coon Rapids for 25 years. He also was owner of Platinum Plus Tanning Salon in Blaine for 10 years. Most recently he was employed by Agropur in St. Paul. Celebration of Life: 1PM, WEDNESDAY, 7/26/17 with gathering 1 hour prior at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd. NW, Coon Rapids.
