Bernard, Phoebe Jane (nee Thayer) age 90, passed away July 13, 2017. Longtime resident of Richfield MN and current resident of Mesa AZ. Preceded in death by husband, Charles G. Bernard. Survived by sister, Priscilla Bussey; brother, Willis Thayer; sons: William Robinson, Gerald Bergeson and Bryan Bernard; step-daughter, Lynne Leeder and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Phoebe was a very intelligent and independent woman, known for her sass and sense of style. She was a voracious reader and avid gardener. Her many talents included several types of needle point, ceramics, quilting and sewing. Private interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Cremation Society of MN, Edina 952-924-4100
