Olive 'Ollie' (Summers) Nelson

Nelson, Olive "Ollie" (Summers) of St. Louis Park went home to be with the Lord on June 23, 2017. She was born on July 27, 1924 at her parents home near Frederic, WI. Ollie graduated from Frederic High School and Teacher's Training at River Falls State College. She taught at her home school in Wisconsin for 2 years and then moved to Minneapolis. She attended Lutheran Bible Institute for 2 years and then met Robert Nelson and they were married in 1951. They adopted two children, Daniel and Barbara. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Myrtle; and son, Daniel. She is survived by husband, Robert; daughter, Barbara; sister, Pearl; and many nieces and nephews. Memorial Service 11 AM on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Westwood Lutheran Church, 9001 Cedar Lake Rd. in St. Louis Park, with visitation one hour prior. Private interment will be held at a later date.
