Colombo, Phyllis M. of Columbia Heights MN and Chandler AZ. She went to be with the Lord, our Savior on June 22, 2017. Survived by: Husband, Mark Colombo, Son, Erik Zieske (Sue), Grandson, Jack Zieske, Sisters: Donna Perrozzi (Gino), Debbie Moeller (Dan), Diane Parenteau (Tom) and stepchildren, nephews and many friends. Preceded in death by: Mother, Mildred Johnson, Father, Earl Johnson. Phyllis was a proud graduate of the University of Minnesota and demonstrated a lifelong love of learning and always challenging herself. She will always be remembered for being intelligent, strong-willed, and having an excellent sense of humor. Everyone she met was soon a friend. She loved traveling, the AZ desert, hiking in the mountains, assisting with animal rescues, bike riding, classical music, and volunteering her time for special causes. She was also quite the wordsmith and thoroughly enjoyed writing. Mass of Christian Burial 10 am Friday June 30 at CORPUS CHRISTI, 2131 Fairview Ave. N., Roseville, with visitation beginning at 8:30 am. Burial Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
