Reinarz, Frederick J. Cheers to 98 years of life, 66 years of marriage to Clarice, 48 years with their longest church family, 47 years in their last home and 40 years with the same company. His graceful life with us ended June 7, 2017. Frederick J. Reinarz, 98 of Greenville, SC, formerly of Bloomington, MN was born in Gemmell, MN, the eldest son of the late Harley and Louise Reinarz of Mizpah, MN. A graduate of Northome High School and University of Minnesota (Minnea-polis) in Mechanical Engineering, he worked for 40 years at Donaldson company in Bloomington and originally at the St. Paul location. As a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN, he loved the Lord, serving in many capacities in the church and quietly lived his life in a manner worth emulating. A life well lived, he never complained, having lived thru the Great Depression and military service in WW2. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, trap and target shooting, coaching sports in earlier years, playing drums, and making crafts for his kids and grandkids. After living in Bloomington, Frederick and Clarice moved to Greenville, SC, in 2011. Frederick is survived by his sons, Karl (Robin), Stephen (Karen), and Robert (Diana); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Clarice, siblings Elizabeth Thompson (Harold), Russell Reinarz (Florence), and Dorothea Noren (Charles). Burial and Honor Guard service will be in the Fort Snelling Veterans Cemetery at 10 a.m., Monday, August 28, 2017, followed by a service celebrating his long, blessed life and the joy of the eternal at 11:30 a.m. followed by a luncheon at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Bloomington, MN. The family wishes to express their thanks to the staff at Brookdale Assisted Living at Greenville, SC.
