Kozlak, Evan Paula Jean Kozlak Evan of San Jose, CA, left this world far too soon after a difficult battle with cancer at her home with her family on June 19, 2017. Paula was the most kind-hearted, loving and compassionate person you would ever meet. Her strength through her bout with cancer was courageous and inspiring. She will be sorely missed because she was everyone's best friend. There is nothing she wouldn't do for a friend. She is one in a billion. Survived by her loving husband Tom and two beautiful daughters Kate and Emma Larson, step-children Stephanie, Chris and Ryan Evan, parents: Bill and Kathy Kozlak, siblings: Ann (Rob) Moore, Sue (Toby) Richards, Katie Kozlak Graif, Bill Kozlak Jr. and Joe as well as twelve nieces and nephews. She graduated from Benilde-St. Margaret's High School in Minneapolis, MN and Santa Clara University with a degree in accounting. Family and friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at 6 PM at Lima-Campagna-Almeda Chapel, 600 S. Second Street, San Jose, CA with visitation beginning at 3 PM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Paula's life will be Thursday, June 29th, 2017 at 10 AM at Holy Spirit Church, 1200 Redmond Av., San Jose, CA. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Stanford Health Care Cancer Center. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering for Paula at JAX Café, 1928 University Ave. N.E., Minneapolis, Thursday, July 6th, 2017 with visitation from 4 to 7 PM and a Time of Sharing at 5:30 PM.
