Brabant, Paul Ellsworth Paul Ellsworth Brabant, age 94 of Minneapolis passed away peacefully on June 12, 2017. Paul was born in Minneapolis on February 24, 1923. He was married to his beloved wife Anne P. Brabant (nee Donahue) for 70 years, who preceded him in death on January 28, 2016. He is also preceded in death by his daughter Anne "Pat" Brabant on November 14, 1981 and two brothers, Floyd and Roger Brabant. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Wayne (Lisa) Brabant, Katherine (Rich) Clawson and Paulette (Rick) Cooper. Seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren as well as other relatives and friends. Paul proudly served in the US Navy during WWII from February of '41 to September of '45. He met his wife Anne while on leave at the USO in Boston, MA where she was born and raised. They married in 1945 and moved to Minneapolis where they resided for the rest of their lives. Paul was a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Knights of Columbus. He was also a scoutmaster and a salesman for Kemps Ice Cream.
