Anderson, Elford J. "Andy" Age 94, born in Minneapolis and formerly of Arden Hills passed away on June 1st after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. Andy was chosen by the Dept. of the Navy to serve in the Japanese theatre of war during WWII. He is survived by his wife, Rose, whom he has been married to for 68 years, his daughters Karen Murphy and Julie Anderson, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children. Andy worked for various companies as an accountant. He was an ardent sports fan and loved by many as he was a gregarious person with an excellent sense of humor. The visitation is scheduled to be on June 17th at 10:30 AM at the Roseville Memorial Chapel, 2245 Hamline Ave. No, Roseville, MN 55113. A memorial service will follow the visitation. Afterwards a luncheon will be served. In memory of Elford, quests may make a contribution to the Alzheimer's Association. Private Interment. Roseville Memorial Chapel 651-631-2727
