Adkins, Sharan D. (Sheffert) age 71, formerly of Minneapolis, MN, passed away peacefully Sunday May 21, 2017, with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her parents Mark W. Sheffert Sr. and Neneen M. Honsvall. She is survived by her husband, John Adkins, son Jeffrey Phifer (Kim), daughters Shawnda Carr (Mark) and Shya-Lea Dawson (Tom), five grandchildren and two brothers, Mark W. Sheffert, Jr. of Edina, MN and Joseph W. Sheffert of Lakeport, CA. Celebration of Life will be held in Smithfield, VA on Saturday, June 3rd.
