Petersen, Gordon age 87 of Crystal, passed away in his own home surrounded by his loving family on May 27, 2017. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Gordon is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joan; daughter, Mary Schulz; twin brother, Lloyd and sisters, Rosalind and Doreen. Survived by children, Sue White, Robert, Kathleen, Julie (Duane) McAllister, Charles and David (Jennifer); son-in-law, Craig Schulz; grandchildren, Hendrick White II, Natalie (Sean) Gomez, Nicholas and Jacob White, Daniel (Samantha) McAllister, Jennifer McAllister, Alyssa (Austin) Saatzer, Alexander and Angela Schulz, Cole and Abby Petersen; 8 great-grandchildren; sister, Barb Thorgrimson. Memorial Mass 10 AM Thursday at the Parish Community of St. Joseph Parish Center, 8701 36th Ave. N., New Hope. Visitation one hour prior to the Mass at the church.
