Kasper, Joseph Gorman May 19, 1927 - May 27, 2017 Joe passed away a week after his 90th birthday celebrated with his wife Helenmary (Schnabel) of 63 years; daughters Karolyn Gander (Richard), Jayne Lammer (Patrick) and Martha Schultz; grandchildren Hannah and Bryan Lammer (Marrisa Guy) and Pierce, Nichole and Sarah Schultz; and great grandchild Jaxson Lammer. After graduating from Notre Dame, Joe and Helenmary started their marriage in his native Fairmont, MN where he was an Engineer in the family business, Fairmont Railway Motors. In 1960, he joined the Tennant Company in Golden Valley, MN until his retirement in 1993. Joe and Helenmary bought a vacation home in Sanibel Island, FL 40 years ago. After Joe retired they resided in dual homes in Bonita Springs, FL and Edina, MN. Joe is a veteran of the United States Navy. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, son and son-in-law, Joe had a marvelous personality and to know him was to love him. He was a true gentleman. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am, Wednesday, May 31, 11:00 at St. Patrick's Church of Edina, visitation 10am. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Mayo Clinic Foundation.
