Schaefer, Lynn Mabel (Grewe) Age 71 of Edina, MN passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, May 19th. Preceded in death by her father Wilford C. Wilson, Jr. and mother Josephine Sedgwick. Survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Tom; son, Scott (Tracy); daughter, Kristin (Matt) Borgman; grandchildren, Quintin & Wilson Schaefer, Connor, Eleanor & Thomas Borgman; brother, Jim (Mary) Grewe, sisters, Mary Jo (Rodger) Bunnell and Pam (Norm) Gross; as well as countless friends. Lynn is remembered for her deep love of family, devotion to her church and dedication to community service. She loved most to be with her family and the many friends that she made through her association with these activities. Lynn's other passion was her love of travel; trips made with her family as well as with her many "travel buddies." Her travels allowed her to visit over 50 countries around the world. Funeral service Saturday, May 27th 10:30 AM at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 4439 W. 50th Street, Edina, MN 55424; visitation from 9-10 AM at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church; 12:00 PM brunch to follow at Edina Country Club. Private interment will take place at Lakewood Cemetery later that day. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Edina, MN; or The University of Minnesota Foundation, ILD Fund #12728, PO Box 860266, Minneapolis, MN 55486, which will be used to support research of Interstitial Lung Disease.
