Kolars, Rita (Corcoran) age 88 of Eden Prairie. On May 2 she returned to God, united once again with her husband Dr. Charles Kolars; parents, Joseph and Mary Corcoran, and sisters Mary Kelleher and Lenore Birch. Born in St. Paul, Rita spent most of her early years in Chicago where she finished high school at Longwood Academy of Our Lady. She returned to St. Paul with her family in 1947 and graduated from St. Catherine College in 1950 with a degree in education. She was a devoted wife, a tireless and supportive mother, and an unconditionally fun grandmother. Rita had a compassionate heart, a quick wit, a wonderful sense of humor and a flair for glamour! She was an avid world traveler and due to her deep and steady Catholic faith has been anticipating this final journey without fear or remorse. Her suffering is over and was always offered up for the good of others. Survived by children, Dr. Joseph Kolars (Candace), Kathleen Conway (Patrick, deceased), Paul Kolars (Monica), Maura Kolars, Charles Kolars, Nelly Heaney (Timothy), Anthony Kolars (Colleen), and grandchildren, Paul and Mary Kolars, Daniel and Joshua Conway, Clare, Mary Margaret, Sophia and John Paul Kolars, Frances and Grace Kolars, Audrey, Francis, Rose and Louis Heaney; brother, Joseph Corcoran, along with many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
