Hubbard, Fredrick Louis December 18, 1945 April 22, 2017. We mourn the death and celebrate the life of Fred Hubbard who passed away peacefully at his home in Seattle on April 22, 2017 at the age of 71. Born in Joliet, Illinois to Rev. Arthur and Phyllis Hubbard, Fred was the eldest of five children. After growing up in Minnesota, Fred joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country for 20 years. He was discharged with honors. Fred was a dedicated and generous father and friend. While Fred suffered from many challenges throughout his life, his indomitable spirit, courage and faith redeemed him and he became an inspiration to many who knew him. Fred was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his four siblings, four children, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and many friends and relatives who loved him dearly.
