Fritsche, Lester Alfred Age 89 of Rogers, MN, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He is preceded in death by his wife Jean; parents, Alfred and Edna; and brother, Stanley. He is survived by his children, Leslie and Daniel; daughter-in-law, Lori; granddaughter, Kira; sister, Alice Delaney; and many nieces and nephews. Lester was born on June 30, 1927 in New Ulm, MN. He graduated from North H.S. in Minneapolis in January 1946 and had remained an active North High Alumni. Served 2 years on the U.S.S. Bremerton; Storekeeper Third Class; received the Word War II Victory Medal Philippine Independence from the US Navy. Lester and Jean were married on June 9, 1950. He worked many years at Scherer Brothers Lumber Company in Minneapolis, participated in and volunteered with many area agencies. Memorial service will be held on Friday May 12th at 11 a.m. at The Church of the Epiphany Episcopal Church 4900 Nathan Lane N, Plymouth, MN. 55442. In lieu of flowers, please donate to his Church, he was a long time member of the Epiphany family.
