Bloom, Arline Mogul Age 88, long time resident of Golden Valley, passed away on April 27, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. From her earliest days in Winnipeg, where she was the standing broad jump champion at McRae Elementary School, Arline enthusiastically leaped into life. Arline was an enthusiastic volunteer, and held numerous leadership positions. She was appointed to serve on the Metropolitan Council for Aging, and served as Chair of the Community Housing Service Corporation. She was actively involved in Mount Sinai Hospital Auxiliary, Minneapolis Jewish Community Center, and the Minneapolis Jewish Federation. To recognize her involvement in the community, Arline was awarded the WCCO Radio Good Neighbor Award. In her later years, she was an exuberant member of the Chai-Light Chorus. Arline enjoyed reading and playing bridge. She was an excellent cook and loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family. She tried never to miss a birthday, activity or performance of any of her grandchildren.
