Buysse, Francis "Frank" Joseph 87, of Garrison, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Happy Trails, his winter home, in Surprise, Arizona. Survived by his wife Nancy of 31 years; children Michael, Ann (Jim) Benson, Frank (Susie), Paul (girlfriend Kelly Mumm); step-daughter Shari (Don) Kreye; sister Norma Sullivan; and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews; extended family; and friends. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing. Frank was born August 17, 1929 in Minneota, MN. He attended St. John's University in Collegeville, MN and then enlisted as a Navy night-fighter pilot. He established Buysse Motors in Worthington, MN where he met his first wife, Audrey (Kramer) who preceded him in death. He later became a stockbroker, moved to Orono, MN, then owned and operated a real estate brokerage. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 25th at 9:30 AM at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church at 155 County Road 24, Wayzata, MN with a full funeral Mass at 11:00 followed by burial on church grounds and luncheon.
