Wildman, Donald C. 4/11/17 In his words, Don had a "wonderful life". The ultimate outdoors- man, he experienced things most of us only dream of. Born in Oak Park, Illinois on September 25th, 1932, Don moved to Minneapolis where he started Scoville Press. His commitment to his business was evident, and success followed. In the mid 1980's, he began spending much of his time in Sanibel, Florida, where he became actively involved with "Ding" Darling Wildlife Refuge, among other causes. He also enjoyed spending summers at his cabin on Pelican Lake. Don was passionate about oysters, crossword puzzles, cigars, and was famous for his smoked salmon and Sunday morning pancakes. He sparkled in a tuxedo, but was most often sporting his favorite fishing shorts; a boat and a Brittany Spaniel by his side. Don was larger than life and those who were fortunate enough to be loved by him were his wife, Ann-Marie, children Don Jr, Susan Dammen, Mark (Ann) and their mother Joann; Russ (Sarah) and his mother Nina. Grandchildren Heather (Zak) Jensen; Erin, Andrew and Krista Dammen; Jack, Kate, Sadie and James, great granddaughter Sloane Jensen, and many friends worldwide. Celebration of life will be Monday April 24th, 2017 at 11am, Chapel by the Sea, Captiva Florida. Services at a later date in Minneapolis.
