Dickinson, James Funeral services for James Dickinson of Starbuck, MN will be Friday, April 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck and for one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Jim died peacefully on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his home in Starbuck. He lived to reach the age of 84 years. Jim is survived by his wife, LaVonne of Starbuck; son, Doug (Becky) Dickinson of Andover, MN; grandchildren: James Dickinson of Bellevue, WA, Stephanie Dickinson of Andover, Nicolle (Jay) Gapol of Salinas, CA and Jamie Dickinson of Andover; 11 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Pat Kielmeyer of Monticello; aunt, Addie Young of Sauk Centre; and several nieces and nephews.
