McKaige, Barbara Ann Born February 12, 1935 in Duluth, MN, passed away on March 25, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her husband, Merle McKaige; daughter, Pam Parker; and parents, Margaret and Russell Quaderer. Barb graduated from Denfeld Senior High School (Duluth) in 1953. In 1955 she married her childhood sweetheart Merle and they moved to Minneapolis in 1956. Living in Crystal, MN she and Merle raised a loving family of two boys and a daughter. Barb was a stay-at-home mom who provided the love and guidance every family needs. Later in life she shared that same love with her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. Barb is survived by her sons, Chuck (Sue) McKaige of Willmar, MN, Bob (Terry) McKaige of Burnsville, MN; grandchildren, Jenny (Nishanth) Kannan of Sioux Falls, SD, Dan McKaige of Chicago, IL; great-grandchildren, Tylar, Tanner and Kody Kannan; son-in-law, Ed Parker of Rockford, MN; brother, Dick Quaderer of Duluth, MN; and niece, LeeAnn Thornton of Hermantown, MN.
