Mooney, Patrick G. age 91. Pat was born March 13, 1926 in New Ulm to Albert and Bertha Mooney and later moved to Chaska where he was a star athlete at Chaska High School graduating in 1944. During this time he met his high school sweetheart, Maxine. They were married on Sept. 9, 1944. Eventually Pat and Maxine moved to St. Louis Park where they raised their family. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Maxine; sons, Mike (Beth) and Steve (Kate); grandchildren, Todd, Jay, Kelly, Aaron, and Tim; 11 great-grand-children; 3 great-great grandchildren; sister, Colleen (Ken) Bom; sisters-in-law, April (Norm) Waters and Chris Smith; other relatives and friends. He was a longtime employee of Hedberg and Sons and Northstar Concrete and an avid golfer. Memorials preferred to the American Heart Association. Memorial service Monday, April 3rd, 3 PM with visitation starting at 2:30 PM at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave. So., St. Louis Park. Private interment Ft. Snelling.
