Halvorson, Colleen Frances Olwell age 67, of New Hope MN, passed away peacefully from a battle with brain cancer on March 19th, 2017. Colleen traveled the world for over 20 years as a North-west/Delta Airlines flight attendant. She often took her family back to her favorite places for vacation, including Amsterdam in the Netherlands, where some of the locals knew her by name. Her fun spirit and kind heart made an impact on countless people. About Colleen: She loved a clean house, Halloween and St. Patty's Day, being on the lake, laughing with her family, shopping with her daughters, running, Dairy Queen, gave wise advice, mischievous, loved beer and Captain coke's, thought rules were for "other people", quick witted like her twin sister, always looking for a new "hole in the wall", rooted for the underdog, and just - cool. She is survived by Warren, her devoted and loving husband of 36 years, who took care of her in their home until the very end. Her children Tiffany, Brandon (Kathy), Kelsey, Brent and Nikki (Todd), grandchildren; Evan (15), Izzy (13), Jackson (2); mother, Annabelle, twin sister Kathy, sister Jeanie, brother Ricky, and MANY other family members, friends, special caregivers and neighbors. A casual celebration of Colleen's life will be held from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on April 1st, 2017 at The Dearing Mansion located at 241 George St. West, St. Paul MN 55107.
