Fischer, John (Jack) Beloved Husband, Father Grandfather, Great-Grandfather Age 82, passed away March 18. 2017. Died after a brave battle with cancer. Survived by wife Joan, children Paul (Joan), Karen, Tim (Michele); 4 grandsons, 4 great grandchildren, brothers Gordon, Jim and their families; sister-in-law Barbara Mitchell and family and cousin Dave Wolf. He was a Korean navel veteran, mail carrier, Aldrich Arena night manager and a pick up driver on Red Cross blood drives. He loved gardening, reading, baking bread, walking and family. Our thanks to the Woodwinds doctors and many care givers at HealthEast. Memorial Services 11 AM Friday, March 24 at Maple Oaks Funeral Home, 2585 Stillwater Rd., Maple-wood with a visitation 1 hr before the service. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
