Laurent, John L. Age 71, of Wayzata, passed away on March 16, 2017 with his wife and children by his side. John will be remembered for his love of family, sense of humor, passion for music and dedication to social justice. His love for beautiful architectural design is displayed in his development contributions throughout the Twin Cities. John is survived by his wife Ann Monahan Laurent, his children Amy Laurent, Michael Laurent, Michelle (Dan) McCormick, Marc Laurent, 10 grandchildren and sister Lenore Roth. Preceded in death by his parents Winifred and Leonard Laurent and brothers Robert and David Laurent. A celebration of life will be held at Wayzata Country Club on Saturday April 1, 2017. Visitation at 2 PM, Service at 3pm. Memorials preferred to DTRF (Des-moid Tumor Research Foundation). Cremation Society of MN 952-924-4100
