Gartin, Mary D. (nee Knooihuizen) age 66, of Maple Grove passed away peacefully in her home on March 16, 2017. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Rhett; son, Anthony (Bethany); daughter, Lisa; siblings, Mark (Sandy) Knooihuizen, John Knooihuizen, Joan (Don) Johnson, Beth (Thom) Bendtsen and Paul (Debbie) Knooihuizen; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mary was born in Minneapolis to parents, Jerry and Dolores Knooihuizen who preceded her. She retired from AT&T after 20 years and worked for Target and Home Depot part-time afterwards. Mary was a devout Catholic and very giving soul. She would do anything to help-out family members or friends in need. She loved traveling, beating everyone in cards, golf, concerts, fishing, Christmas and making fudge, but mostly she loved spending time with family and friends. Memorial Mass Wed. 11 AM at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus 155 Cty. Rd. 24, Medina.
