Joan R. Blasing

Blasing, Joan R. age 71 of Eagan, MN, went to heaven on Feb. 24th, 2017. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis and was employed by the Fairview Health System until she met and married her husband Paul. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, such as making school lunches for her children and watching them walk to the bus stop and return in the afternoon. Joan loved going to her in-laws, sleeping in the "big bed" and waking to the smell of homemade cinnamon rolls. Her passion was serving Jesus, her family, listening to polka music and dancing. She spent her life helping others. Joan is survived by her sisters, Karen and Linda of Minneapolis; her children, Elizabeth, Mary and Michael; her seven adoring grandchildren and her husband Paul. Joan served her Lord until her last breath. Celebration of her life will be in early spring.
