Nussbaum, Barbara Of Mpls., died peacefully at home on Feb. 21, two days before her 97th birthday. Predeceased by her beloved husband, U of M Prof. Allen Nussbaum. Barbara was a war bride from Bournemouth, England. She taught nursery school and volunteered for many years in the Child Life division of U of M Hospitals. Survived by her children and their spouses, Elizabeth and Walt Bachman, Peter and Sandra Nussbaum, Tom Nussbaum and Rolla Herman, David Nussbaum and Brigid Volk; grandchildren Maria Blair, Howard Kaibel, Madeline Nussbaum, and Jacob Nussbaum; great-grand children Zora Blair, Willa Blair, Aura Kaibel, and Iris Kaibel; and step-grandchildren Amanda Abrams, Melissa Ugland, Rachel Bachman, and Matthew Bachman.
