Nye, Carol M. age 78, of St. Francis, born March 6, 1938, passed peacefully in her sleep Feb. 22, 2017. She grew up on a dairy farm and graduated from Delano High School. Carol was an excellent singer and trained at MacPhail School of Music. She was an outstanding speller, having won several spelling bees in her youth. Preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marie Grams; and sister, Audrey. Survived by husband, Jim; son, Greg; brother, Milo Grams; sister-in-law, Beverly Grams; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service 11 AM, Monday, Feb. 27, with visitation one hour prior at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3812 229th Ave NW, St. Francis. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
