Kanz, William "Bill" B. Age 89 of Robbinsdale passed away peacefully on 2/21/17 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by parents Helen M. and William F.; wife Helen M.; daugther Janice Brandstrom; brother James; and sister Patricia Rudie. Survived by children Arthur Dean, William (Lois), Michael (Bev), Michael (Julia) Dean, Tim (Michele), Daniel (Jane) and Dennis (Karen); son-in-law, Harlan Brandstrom; numerous grandchildren; great and great great grandchildren; many friends and family. Bill worked at Honeywell for over 40 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, was the former Commander of the Crystal VFW and was an avid golfer, fisherman, coach and fan. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 2/27 at 10:30 AM with visitation one hour prior to Mass at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7180 Hemlock Lane, Maple Grove.
