Baker, Richard E. (Dick) age 96, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Brian. He was survived by his wife of 69 years, Carol; children Kathy (Don), Mark (Martha), Melissa (Craig); six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Dick was a graduate of the University of Minnesota and a proud four-year Navy veteran of WWII. He spent his entire career at Dayton's, starting in the management trainee program for the retail store and ending as a top salesman in the commercial interiors division. He loved classical music, opera, traveling, and wintering in Florida. Dick was an avid sports fan throughout his whole life, with the Gophers and the Vikings at the top of the list.Memorials may be given to the Salvation Army or Union Gospel Mission.
