Joan H. (Buntrock) Ableiter

Ableiter, Joan H. (Buntrock) Age 82 at St. Anthony Health Center on Feb. 8, 2017 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Preceded in death by parents, Leona and William Buntrock; brother, Ronald Buntrock; husband Harold. Survived by children, Dawn (Curtis) DeMulling, Lisa (Mark) Bangert, and Stephanie; grandchildren, Alissa and Kelsey; and several cousins. Born May 11, 1934. Joan worked as a nurse, then as a full time mother. She often ate ice cream for breakfast. She loved to garden and was an excellent seamstress. She traveled extensively, but her family was most important to her. Memorials to animal or environmental charities. There will be a small private service for family and friends this spring.
