Freeman, Lucille (Teal) Passed away on February 16, 2017 at 98 years young. Teal was born in South St. Paul on July 9, 1918 to Caroline and Herman Ott, one of five siblings. She was the beloved wife of Mel Freeman, who passed in 2006. Teal lived in South St Paul for most of her life, moving to Eagan prior to Mel's passing. Teal was a fiercely independent woman who was an integral part of the Freemans' many entrepreneurial businesses. A beautiful woman, tall and slim, she also had a successful career as a clothing model. Teal had a compassionate heart and a wonderful sense of humor which stayed with her throughout her life. Teal is survived by nephews and nieces. Her faith was important to her and memorials can be sent to Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 7510 Palomino Drive, Apple Valley MN 55124.
