Bredeson, Margaret M. of Bloomington, 98.5 years young, came into the presence of her Lord and Savior on February 14, 2017. Margaret is survived by her children and grandchildren: son Thomas (Jan) of Eden Prairie, Dr. Kate Bredeson of Portland, Oregon, Andrew J. Bredeson of Denver, daughter Janet (Bruce) Fohr of Tucson, Robert (Christine) Fohr and great-granddaughter Madeline of Ownesboro, Kentucky, and granddaughter, Emily Fohr of Tucson; bonus grandchildren Brad Hoehn of Shakopee, and Julie Hoehn Daly (Jake) of Blaine. Margaret's sister, Lorraine (Stewart) Gravatt of New Hope also survives her. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; the couple's marriage prospered for 67 years. Margaret Bredeson, the daughter of Andrew Mansen, a Norwegian immigrant and wife Emma, was a proud American committed to her faith and her family. She met her husband through her church and was always pleased to tell anyone that she knew she wanted to marry him after two dates. For over 80 years Margaret and Bob were active members of Oliver Presbyterian Church in Minneapolis, fully committed to evangelical outreach, never wavering in their Christian faith and promise. She was well-known for her gift for hospitality and church work for Presbyterian women. Margaret was a vigorous and active supporter of her children's activities who believed in the values of education and work. A memorial service will be held in the Lakewood Cemetery Chapel with date and time to be announced later. Our family wishes to thank the many friends and family who have encouraged our mother these past years. You have not only been a source of strength and promise for her but for our entire family. A very special thank you to the wonderful staff at Founders Ridge in Bloomington where mother resided. Each of you are incredibly talented and devoted to bringing the very best professional care to all who live there. You did wonders for the quality of our mother's life. We also recognize and thank two individuals whose time, talent, and support are without equal. Thank you Chip Grey and Jean Anderson. You are so much a part of our family.
