Johnson, Robert M. age 62 of Bloomington. Our smart, funny, loving "RJ" passed away on February 10, 2017. Rob was a graduate of Edina West High 1973 and then the University of Minnesota. Rob had a long and successful career at TCF Bank and after his retirement he spent his time being a dedicated volunteer at the Animal Humane Society and Fairview Southdale Hospital. His life was so filled with friends and adventures. Everyone who met him knew how special he was. He had a love of sports especially any time he could spend watching hockey with his great friend Brian Burke. Rob had a heart of gold but his addiction demons were so painful he just couldn't beat them. He will be so greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Preceded in death by parents Carl and Betty Johnson; niece Laura and longtime partner, Peggy Peterson. Survived by sisters, Jean (Carlos) Lieser, Carol Franzen; niece Lisa (Chris) Fong; so many longtime friends and his beloved dogs Molly and Lilly. A celebration of his life will be held in April. A notice will be posted with the details or information available at Gill Brothers. Memorials preferred to the Animal Humane Society. GILLBROTHERS.com MINNEAPOLIS, MN 612-861-6088
