Malmo, William Reeves age 94, of Bloomington, MN, quietly passed away on Feb. 8, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Walter, his first wife & mother of his children, Marjorie, his eldest daughter Nancy Orn, his sister, Betty Wickstrom, his brother, Don, his second wife Dorothy and his son-in-law Jay Friendshuh. Survived by his daughter Kathy Goblirsch, his son Bill, Jr., 11 terrific grandchildren, 22 really great grandchildren, numerous dear nieces, nephews, many friends and his last loving companion, Mary Lou Carlson. Bill was born and raised in New Richmond, WI, and graduated from New Richmond High School and Hamline University in St. Paul earning a BA degree in Business. He served in the Navy during WWII out of San Francisco, training crews on radar and sonar. Bill was Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Udico Electric Co., Chicago Cutlery and Blue Lustre. He was an avid golfer, gardener, Shriner and tinkerer. He loved popcorn, ice cream and elephants. He made connections with people wherever he went, and led a full and wonderful life. We'll do our best to follow your lead, Dad. Our heartfelt thanks to his Park Nicollet hospice team. A celebration of Dad's life will be held February 24 at the Edina Community Lutheran Church at 11 am. A light lunch at the church will follow for everyone with an interment at Roselawn Cemetery for family.
