Anderson, Rev Carold V. Went home to the Lord on February 8, 2017. He was born in Drayton, N.D. on March 10, 1922, graduated from Kennedy, MN High School, and served in the Army during WWII. He met Doris Bergquist of Ogilvie, MN while home on leave. When discharged in 1946, he entered North Park College in Chicago, IL. Carold and Doris were married in 1948 and he graduated from North Park Seminary in 1952. They served 9 Covenant churches together while raising their 4 children. After retiring in Agenda, KS, they went on to serve 9 more churches on an interim basis. Carold had an unfaltering love for the Lord and used his many talents to tell others of God's love for them. He was an artist, a musician and had the ability to engage anyone over a cup of coffee. Carold's Life Celebration will be held at Brookdale Covenant Church, 5139 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, Feb. 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Service at Thomastown Covenant Church in rural Staples, MN, Feb. 25, 2:00 p.m. Memorials preferred to Covenant Village of Golden Valley, Benevolent Fund.
