Stephen A. Carr

Carr, Stephen A. "Steve-O" age 62, of Minneapolis, passed away on Jan. 26, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents Pat and Joan, and sister Mary. Survived by son Brian and Brian's mother Valerie Carr, brother Pat (Chris), sister Peggy, many nieces, nephews, friends and clients. Our gifted and talented Steve left us knowing that he was deeply loved and respected. He was a loving father to Brian, a dedicated and accomplished attorney, and a dear friend to many others. Steve grew up in Minneapolis, graduated from Benilde High School and later from Hamline Law School. Steve spent his law career in private practice, and more recently as General Counsel for OttoBock Healthcare North America. Forever passionate in life, he was an avid musician and traveler. He made friends around the world, spoke many languages and there were few instruments he couldn't play. Steve was engaging, soulful, worldly and true. His free spirit has left a colorful mark on this world and will continue to live on in each of us. We are grateful to have learned and shared so much from such a special man. Memorial service 2 PM March 3rd at St. Joan of Arc Church, 4537 3rd Ave S Mpls. with visitation one hour prior. Celebration of Steve's life will follow in Mtka (details provided at service).
