Sidler, Donald E. age 85 of New Hope. Feb. 12, 1931- Jan. 21, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, John and Dorothy; infant daughter, Debra; wife, Dorothy; and siblings, Edward, Jim, and LauraMae. Survived by the love of his life, Kathy Rosen and her children Nicole, Evan and Kimberly; sons, Michael (Cheryl), Alan (Karen), David (Jennifer); many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Don was a proud veteran, having served in the Korean War as a member of the Air Force. After his service, he was employed by Koch Refinery for over 30 years. One of Don's greatest joys was traveling with the BMW Motorcycle Club and in his later years, traveling in his EOS convertible. Funeral service 11 AM on Wed. Jan. 25, 2017 at Washburn-McReavy Strobeck Johnson Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred to the Wounded Warrior Project.
