Loretta C. (nee Route) Anderson

Anderson, Loretta C. (nee Route) Born 8/24/24 to Fred and Inga Route in Amery, Wis.; died 1/19/17 in Eden Prairie. She grew up in Amery as one of 11 children. She went to business school in Mpls and worked for a law firm in Mpls. During WWII she worked for the US gov't in Ogden, UT, and LA, CA, then moved back to Mpls to work for the same law firm. She married Richard Anderson in 1946. In 1950, they moved to New London, MN, where they bought a drug store where Richard was the pharmacist. Loretta was a full time Mom to their 5 children. Loretta enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, other family and friends. She loved the outdoors, bowling, golfing, and birds. She was preceded in death by Richard, grandson Noel Tedrow, and 8 of her siblings. She is survived by siblings Claire Burk and Jerry Route, 5 children & 6 grandchildren. The funeral service is at 11 am Sunday with visitation at 10 am at Washburn-McReavy Eden Prairie Chapel, 7625 Mitchell Road, 952-975-0400.
