Benson, Lorraine A. May 25, 1936 January 17, 2017 80, of Edina, died Tuesday at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna following a brief cancer journey. Preceded in death by parents, Raymond and Anna Mittelstadt; husband, Michael and sister and brother-in-law, Florence (Robert) Kasper. Survived by several nieces and nephews Lorraine worked as a dental hygienist in Richfield, and at Jones Harris Nursing Home until her retirement at age 70. In her retirement, she volunteered at Fairview Southdale Hospital and her church, St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Visitation is one hour prior to the Memorial Service at 1pm on Saturday, January 21st all at Michaelson Funeral Home in Owatonna. Memorials are preferred to Homestead Hospice House of Owatonna or the American Cancer Society.
