Odman, Robert Scott age 49, pass-ed away unexpectedly and peacefully in his sleep on Monday, December 26th. He was born on November 15th, 1967 in Charleston, South Carolina. Scott was a long time resident of St. Paul, Minnesota. Scott is survived by his wife, Heather Stockton, and children, Stella and Lilah, father and mother, Robert and Marcia Odman, sister Kim Reis (Tom), brother Joe Odman (Elly), many loving nieces and nephews, Sam, Nicholas and Megan Reis, Jack Andert, Jacob, Ryan and Emma Odman, Kristin, Kaitlyn and Michael Stockton, brother-in-law Erik (Patti) and his parents-in-law Will and Joyce Stockton. Scott graduated from St. Paul Central High School in 1986. He went on to the University of Minnesota and graduated with a degree in Geography and later received a Masters in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He worked at St. Thomas University as a Business Reference Librarian at the time of his passing. Scott's first love was his family. He had a passion for photography, a love of books and learning and a compassionate heart that led him to community service. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed. A celebration of life service for Scott will be held in the University of St. Thomas Anderson Student Center (St. Paul campus) in the Hearth Room (3rd floor) on Thursday, January 5 from 4:00 to 7:00. A brief ceremony is scheduled for 5:00. He was buried, a green burial, at Prairie Oaks Memorial Eco Gardens in Inver Grove Heights on December 29 in a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the family or to a scholarship fund for Stella and Lilah (details will be available at the celebration of life service).
