Viessman, Clifford 1/29/1930 - 12/28/2016 age 86, of Clarkfield & Dawson area, died Wed., Dec. 28, 2016 at Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson. Funeral Sat., Dec. 31 at 10:30 AM at Clarkfield Lutheran Church in Clarkfield. Visitation Fri., December 30 from 4-7:00 PM at Clarkfield Lutheran Church. Clifford Viessman was born on Jan. 29, 1930. He married Rose Wajer. In 1958 he moved his family to Primghar, Iowa and became part owner of Viessman & Einck Livestock & Trucking. He moved his family to Clarkfield, MN in 1965 to continue his association with 5 Star Dairy later called Associated Milk Producers, Inc. The main office was moved to Gary, SD in 1987 where it remains today. Terminals were then opened in Columbus, NE, Whapteton, ND, Dayton, OH, Cedar Rapids, IA, Eitzen, MN & Paynesville, MN in the following years.
