Anita Anderson

Anderson, Anita Age 81, of Eagan, MN went peacefully to be with Jesus, her Savior on December 19, 2016 after a sudden, brief illness. She was born on July 8, 1935 to Axel & Elsie Anderson in Camp Douglas, Wisconsin. She received a teaching certificate from Northwestern College. On May 16, 1959 she wed Duane Anderson, and their 53 years together were filled with quiet, unceasing ministry and service to countless individuals, church and charity organizations, and the neighborhoods where they lived and worked. Anita's gift of encouragement through prolific letter writing filled the mailboxes of hundreds of friends near and far. Anita was preceded in death by her beloved husband Duey, and her sister, Carol Greeno. Left to remember her gentle, servant heart are Anita's son Jody and wife Tonya; grandchildren Celeste, Quinn, Claire and Paige; brother-in-law George Greeno; nieces and nephew. Services will be held Tuesday, December 27 at 11am at Cross of Christ Church, 8748 210th St W, Lakeville MN 55044. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service.
