Disser, Audrey Estelle (Simmons) age 91, of Mesa, Arizona and former Bloomington, Minnesota resident passed away November 28, 2016 after a short illness visiting family in Omaha, Nebraska. She was born in Glenwood, Minnesota on June 24, 1925 to parents Andrew Donald and Margaret (Berry) Simmons. Audrey was the oldest of three children: Donna, and Phillip (deceased). She attended Abbott-Northwestern School of Nursing (Minneapolis), and happily married 56 years to Charles Joseph Disser. Audrey retired from the Target Corporation after 22-years of service as T-5 department manager and corporate buying office. Excelling in piano and organ, she played for Minneapolis Vocational High School and Bloomington Community choruses, Order of Eastern Star (OES) Bloomington Chapter #307, and Las Palma Grand Choraliers (Mesa, Arizona). Audrey was dearly loved by her family. She is survived by daughters Barbara L. Disser (David J Bynum, Scottsdale, Arizona) and Darlayn K. Worley (Chris, Lexington, North Carolina), granddaughters Caree A. Cross-grove (Omaha, Nebraska) and Jill C. (Jesse) Steenberg (Rosemount, Minnesota), five great-grandchildren Camden, Avrey and Andrew Jones (Omaha, Nebraska), and Ariahna and Adelynn Steenberg (Rose-mount, Minnesota), sister Donna Woodhall (Canton, Ohio), sister-in-laws Linda Simmons (Colville, Washington) and Deann Diemeke (Maryland Heights, Missouri), and many nieces and nephews. Committal service will be held June 26, 2017 at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
