Gerald Fields

Fields, Gerald Age 87 of Golden Valley passed away Dec. 10, 2016. He was born April 15, 1929 in New York City and spent his life in Minnesota. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Victoria Finkelstein; and brothers-in-law, Don, Harold and Phillip Rosen. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Phillis; daughters, Victoria Juster (Bob), Patrice Jones (Tom), Andrea Lampert (Iric); sons, Allen and Leonard; grandchildren, Tom Jones (Cassie), Meara Franowitz (Matt), Sara Jones (Dana Wasserman), Jared Fields (Chelsea), Sam Fields (Andrea), Lauren Lederfine (Darren), Briana Woc (Guayo); great-grandchildren, Max and Noah; brother-in-law, Barney Rosen (Sally); and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Gerald served in the army in Korea. He was proud of his library, which covered everything from dogs to science to humor. He was passionate about Judaism and looked forward to leading the Passover Seder. His unique way of teaching piano endeared him to his many students and their parents.
